APP

My favorite APP. The APP that I use regularly more than any other is Pinterest, I really like its content since it is very extensive and one can feed back the imagination through images, videos, blogs, recipes, etc. There are always links associated with what you need and when I'm blank I see content on the page and I usually have many references for my projects. It is an APP that teaches me something new every time I review it, I use it more than anything to know how to perform certain ceramic techniques, such as the different ways of putting together a piece or how to make your own enamels, minimalist pieces, etc. There is something for everyone and that's what I appreciate a lot on Pinterest, you can cultivate and expand your imagination just by looking for a term you need.

Steve Alten

My favorite writer at the moment. For now my favorite writer is Steve Alten, he was born in Filadenfia and he has a degree from Penn State University. Is recognized by his best sellers in New York Times his work MEG: A Novel of Deep Terror, the truth is that I name it because I am reading The Mayan Trilogy and this is about the Mayan calendar and what was supposed to happen in the 2012, during the winter solstice, the day associated with the birth of light after the longest night of the annual cycle, is a very interesting dynamic for me since it contains a lot of truthful information in relation to universal history and also science fiction with terror. I already go in the second book and it is quite intriguing, I like books that have history, sociology or ethnology. The one I am reading now supposedly deals with the truth of the Mayan calendar and reveals the fateful destiny of humanity, this book takes us from Stonhenge, the pyramids of Egypt to the unmemorable Mayan ruins do...

The house of secrets

The house of secrets. For me, this photograph means many things, it is a pottery vase that my grandmother gave me when I was 9 years old and she has it in 1980. This object brings back good and bad memories, since it was present throughout my childhood and is totally  strange for me at least the appreciation or attachment to certain material things, like this piece of pottery. I am attached to what this object means to me, not for what it is, but for the memories that it stores. More than anything, I am also struck by the sense of the place that this house occupies in my room, it was an object that was present in different ages, childhood, adolescence and in different moments of my life. Many times I wanted to destroy it but I could not because of the simple fact that it was given to me by my grandmother and because of her long hystory through the years. I still have it and I love it, now it is part of my story.
